Check evidence
Read the source excerpts behind an assessment answer and open the original material.
Check an answer's evidence before approving it. You need access to the project and assessment; opening the original file also requires access to that source.
- Open the Projects Hub, select the project and assessment, then find the question you want to check.
- Open the item's evidence-sources badge. The Evidence Sources dialog lists the available sources and citations.
- Read the excerpt and any page information. Use Show more when an excerpt is shortened.
- Choose Open project file to check the original project document, or Open external source for a linked source. These open separately so you can return to the answer.
- Compare the source with the question and the answer. Check whether it covers the relevant system, period, and requirement.

The dialog may include a summary, confidence information, and a generated time. Use them alongside the source text when deciding whether the answer is supported.
If the source is incomplete or unavailable
No evidence sources available for this item means the item has no sources to display. It does not confirm that the requirement is met. Leave a comment describing the missing proof, or ask a contributor to add supporting files.
You may be able to read an excerpt while file details require access to the source project. Ask the project admin for access when you need to verify the original. If Source link unavailable appears, ask the person preparing the assessment for a usable source.
When you have checked the material, return to the item and record your review decision.
