Review answers

Find the items assigned to you, check their evidence, and approve answers or request changes.

Use a review decision to record whether an answer is ready. Editing and review actions require Contributor, Admin, or Owner access to the project and active assessment access for the workspace.

  1. Open the Projects Hub, select the project and assessment, then search for a question or use the reviewer, status, compliance, and area filters to narrow the list.
  2. Read the full question and answer. Open the question separately if you need more space.
  3. Check the evidence sources, then read existing comments and activity for context.
  4. If the answer is ready, choose Approve.
  5. If it needs changes, choose Reject, describe what needs correcting, then select Confirm Rejection. The reason is optional, but it gives the next reviewer a useful action.

Read the answer and check its evidence before recording your review. Example data.

The item shows Approved or Rejected after the update succeeds. Review status and compliance are separate: approving an answer records your review decision. Check the compliance value as part of the review rather than assuming approval changes it.

Share the review work

Use Assign me to take responsibility for an item. The Reviewers controls let contributors assign other project members. If the person you need is unavailable, ask a project admin to check their membership.

Use comments for a question, a request for evidence, or a handover note. State what should change and where the supporting material can be found so a colleague can continue the work.

To assign several reviewers, open the reviewer picker, search for project members, select the people, and choose Assign reviewers. Review the selected count before confirming. Use the remove control on an assigned reviewer when their assignment should end, and confirm the removal.

Open Comments, choose Write a comment, enter the note, and select Submit. Use the comment's edit or delete controls when available to you. Check the confirmation before deleting a comment you may need for the handover.

Find the next review item

Use the assessment's reviewer filter for Assigned to me, another reviewer, or unassigned work. You can combine it with status, compliance, area, and policy-violation filters, then sort by order, creation time, update time, or compliance. Filters remain in the page link so you can return to the same view.

The Assessment Review page lists assigned and pending items with their priority and estimated review time. Choose Review item to open the relevant question in the assessment, or Open assessment for the full list. If the queue is empty, return to the assessment and check its filters and remaining items.

Check policy alerts separately

Open an item's Violations or Policy violations control to inspect the linked risk context. Active and dismissed counts are shown separately. Review the alert's details and evidence before choosing a risk action. Risk dismissal and assessment approval record different decisions; approving a question does not establish that every linked risk has been resolved.

Choose Review artifact risks above the assessment summary to open the risk register filtered to the assessment and its items. The compliance overview, risk counts, and status-by-compliance matrix help you find unfinished work. Check both compliance and review status: AI Reviewed records AI review, while Approved records an approval decision.

When actions are unavailable

Sorena can temporarily lock edits during AI processing or while another operation holds the item. Read the lock message and wait for the operation to finish before trying again. If the controls remain unavailable, check your project role and the workspace's assessment access.

After the review, clear filters to check for unfinished items. Export the assessment when you need to share the results outside Sorena.
