Find and create artifacts
Choose the right artifact and find work within a project.
Artifacts are the assessments, contracts, organizational documents, and timelines inside a project. Open the Projects Hub, select the project, then use its artifact list.
Find existing work
Use the Artifacts hub to find artifacts across projects you can access. To find a particular question, section, event, or comment, open Content explorer. Select a result to continue in its source artifact.
Search by name, description, or content. Choose the artifact type, adjust sorting and its direction, and use the page controls to browse more results. Clear the search and filters if an expected artifact is missing.
When management-system filters are available, use them to narrow the list by its management-system relationship. Organizational-document filters can narrow results by document details, locked or editable state, next review date, and effective date. These filters help locate existing work before creating a duplicate.
Open an artifact card to enter its dedicated workspace. A linked assessment question can open separately; use Back to assessment to return to the full assessment. A link to a specific question can show that question even when it falls outside the current filters.
Choose an artifact type
You need Contributor, Admin, or Owner access to create artifacts. Open New artifact, then choose the type for the work:
| Type | Use it for | Continue with |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment | Requirements, answers, evidence, and review decisions | Create an assessment |
| Contract | An agreement with sections, parties, and reviewers | Work on contracts |
| Organizational document | A controlled policy, procedure, standard, or other document | Work on organizational documents |
| Timeline | Dated milestones and events | Work on timelines |
The menu includes only types available under the workspace's licenses. If an option is missing, ask a workspace administrator to check the relevant assessment or autopilot license and your project role.
Keep activity and working content separate
Use the artifact's Activity control to inspect recorded changes. Full history includes older and dismissed entries. Use the artifact workspace to make edits and record review decisions. Activity history explains the available filters and how to open an event's details.
