Project settings and deletion
Update project details and inspect what permanent project deletion will remove.
Project Admins and Owners can open the Projects Hub, select a project, and choose Settings. You need active platform access to manage it.
Change the name or description
- In General, edit Project Name or Description.
- Choose Save Changes and wait for Settings saved.
- Use Reset to restore the last saved values before saving.
The project name is required and can contain up to 128 characters when edited here. For workspace-wide access, review the sharing card or follow project members and sharing.
Permanently delete a project
Deletion removes the project and its Drive files and artifacts. It cannot be undone. Chat sessions are retained. Review the live impact shown by Sorena, including affected work in progress and any management-system domains that will lose this project as their destination.
- Open Danger Zone and choose Delete Project.
- Wait for the deletion impact to load. Read the counts and warnings before proceeding.
- Type the project name shown in the confirmation.
- Choose Delete project only when the displayed impact is acceptable.
Sorena returns to Projects after successful deletion. If the impact cannot load, choose Try again; deletion remains unavailable until the impact can be checked. If deletion fails, confirm that the project still exists before retrying.
