Run assessment AI Autopilot

Give assessment processing instructions, follow progress, and recover from a stopped or failed run.

AI Autopilot processes assessment material and reports its progress. You need Contributor, Admin, or Owner access and the licenses listed by the Autopilot panel. Check assessment sources and exclusions before starting.

Start a run

  1. Open the Projects Hub, select the project and assessment, then find the AI Autopilot panel.
  2. Review the instructions in the start options. Describe the outcome you want, such as updating answers after changing Drive files. The suggested instruction chips can help you start.
  3. If a completed step must run again, open Advanced Options and select the relevant steps. Options include status checking, planning, importing questions, answering questions, assigning members, and policy evaluation.
  4. Choose Start Autopilot. Wait through Checking or Connecting until Sorena reports the run state.
  5. Follow the current step, progress, elapsed time, and available run metrics.

Advanced options force selected steps to run again. Review them before each run, especially when re-importing questions or re-answering items that already contain work. Reset to defaults clears custom start options.

Inspect the results

Choose View live run details while running, or View last run details afterward. The dashboard shows overall progress and available step details. Use Refresh in the saved-status view when you need an updated report.

A completed run can still leave items needing review. Return to the assessment, check evidence, and record human decisions. The processing dashboard is not a substitute for checking the answers.

Stop or restart

Choose Stop, then Stop Autopilot in the confirmation. The current item finishes processing before the run stops. Choose Keep Running to cancel the stop request. You can restart later.

For a failed run, read the error and failed step, correct missing or unsuitable material where needed, then choose Restart. The Delete failed record action removes the failed operation record; it is separate from deleting the assessment.

If the connection is lost, use the connection control to reconnect and check the current run state before starting another run. Editing may stay paused while processing is active. If Sorena offers Clean stale lock, use it only after confirming that no run is active, as the warning instructs. If the panel remains blocked, contact support with the assessment name, visible message, and the last action you took.
