AI service and provider settings

Choose workspace OpenAI processing preferences and manage workspace provider credentials.

Open Workspace > Integrations. Workspace admins and owners can change available settings. Other members can read the settings exposed to them. The page also contains the workspace's GitHub integration.

Choose OpenAI service preferences

Under OpenAI service settings, choose Service tier. The page describes Standard, Fast, and Flex processing. These preferences also apply when Sorena manages the API key.

  1. Choose the service tier and save it.
  2. Review the regions available for the saved tier.
  3. Under Data residency, choose an available region or Off, then save.
  4. Check the saved region and whether residency is active.

The region control is disabled while you have an unsaved tier change. Save the tier first. Residency applies to eligible OpenAI requests, and the page shows the applicable surcharge. A saved region can be unavailable for the current tier; read the warning and choose an available region or turn residency off. Do not assume that a saved region is active.

Use Try again if settings cannot load or refresh. If saving fails, keep the current tier or turn residency off as directed by the error, then try again.

Manage workspace provider credentials

The AI providers section requires the Platform and Enterprise BYOAI licenses. It shows whether each provider uses System Default or Workspace Config, and whether workspace keys have been provided. The available cards include OpenAI and Cloudflare.

Select Edit and complete the credential fields offered for that provider. OpenAI requires its API key; Cloudflare requires its API key and account ID. Select Test Connection and read the result, then Save. Supply credentials only through the credential form. After saving, check the card before using Enable Workspace Config.

ControlEffect
Enable Workspace ConfigActivates the workspace's saved configuration. Configure the provider first.
Disable Workspace ConfigDisables that configuration after the deactivation dialog.
Enable Fallback / Disable FallbackChanges whether fallback is allowed for that provider.
Use System DefaultDisables workspace configuration and enables use of system credentials through the confirmation dialog.
Delete ConfigDeletes the saved workspace keys and configuration for that provider. You must supply them again to restore that configuration.

Check the success message and Using badge after changes. If a change fails, read the message and verify the saved configuration and your access before retrying. Ask a workspace owner if the provider section or editing controls are missing.
