Team settings and sharing

Edit a team, set workspace-wide default access, or permanently delete it.

Open Teams, choose a team, then select Settings. Team admins and owners can edit its settings. Only a team owner sees the team deletion controls.

Edit team information

Under Team Information, change Team Name or Description, then select Save Changes. Check the saved result. Use Back to Team to return to the member list.

Set workspace sharing

Open Workspace Sharing from the team page or its settings. Choose Default access for workspace members, then save the change. Choose from the access levels offered to your role.

Workspace readers receive at most reader access through this setting. Direct and team grants remain separate. Disabling the workspace default does not remove a person's other grants. Use the current-setting summary to check the saved default; Reset restores an unsaved choice.

If saving sharing fails, the setting returns to its saved value. Review that value before trying again.

Delete a team

Under Danger Zone, select Delete Team and review the confirmation. Deletion permanently removes the team and its member associations and cannot be undone. Check any project or resource access that depends on the team before confirming. Type the displayed team name exactly in Confirm team name, then select Delete Team. The button remains disabled until the name matches.

If settings show Access Denied, return to the team and ask a team owner to check your role.
