Risks

Find and review risks

Narrow the risk register, choose a useful view, review summaries, and export your selection.

Open Register and confirm the workspace shown beside Risk Register. Choose Dashboard or open the dashboard to review summaries.

Find the records you need

Search for a risk using its title or related context. The search field also supports owners, controls, and threats. Use Project, Team, or Assigned to narrow responsibility and project scope. Open the advanced filters to combine Severity, Status, Response, Category, Owner, Origin, and Evidence.

For follow-up work, enable Over appetite or Review overdue. A risk over appetite exceeds the workspace's tolerated severity. An overdue risk needs a review according to its review date.

Context filters can narrow the register to an artifact, assessment item, contract section, timeline event, document section, or reviewer. Timeline geography filters let you narrow geographic scope and applicability where that context is available. Remove individual filter chips to broaden the results, or clear the filters before concluding that a record is missing.

Choose a sort field, such as Residual severity, Next review, Target resolution, or Updated, then choose Ascending or Descending. Use Rows, Previous, and Next to move through the results.

Choose a register view

Use the view menu to switch between:

ViewWhen to use it
TableCompare rows and make available quick changes to status, response, or owners.
BoardReview risks grouped into severity bands, including unscored risks.
CardsRead the risk's summary and context before opening it.
MatrixCompare likelihood and impact using Inherent or Residual scoring.

Select a risk to open its preview, then open the full record when you need discussion or the complete detail. In the matrix, select a plotted risk to inspect it. If there are no scored risks to plot, open a risk and complete its scoring.

Table quick changes require contribution access to the risk's project. For acceptance or dismissal, open the full record and use the dedicated lifecycle action so you can record the reason.

Review the dashboard

The dashboard brings together severity and appetite summaries, the risk matrix, trends, risk concentration, ownership workload, treatment progress, evidence coverage, response strategy, risk aging, exposure by category, and top residual exposures.

Use the visible scope labels when reading a panel. Some summaries have a broader scope than a detailed filter can express. Change the trend period or grouping when available. In Risk concentration, choose a grouping and select a group to inspect its risks. Ownership workload has Owners and Reviewers tabs and follow-up counts for Unowned, Unreviewed, and No actions. Select an available drilldown to return to the matching register records.

An unavailable panel means its data could not refresh. Wait for the dashboard to retry and avoid treating an unavailable count as zero. An empty panel can also mean the current filter scope has no matching data.

Export the current scope

From Register, choose Export, then CSV, TSV, or JSON. The download uses your current filters and sorting. CSV opens in spreadsheet tools; TSV is useful for copying tabular data; JSON retains structured data.

From Dashboard, choose Dashboard PNG to download an image of the dashboard with its filter context. Wait for the charts to load before exporting. If a download fails, read the error message, check that the workspace is still selected, and try again.

If the register fails to load, choose Retry. If a search has no matches, remove search terms and scope filters before changing projects or asking for access.
