Choose templates and destinations
Read catalog templates, understand their expected use, and choose where new content goes.
From Management systems, choose Domains to browse organizational domains. A domain groups catalog templates and suggests a project name. Open it to review its purpose, template coverage, frameworks, and member templates. Explore all templates opens the full filtered collection.
Inspect an artifact template
Search Artifact templates, then filter by Organizational domain, Catalog domain template, Artifact family, or Lifecycle. Use Sort templates and pagination to find the relevant version. Clear filters removes invalid or overly narrow saved filters.
Open a template to read its summary, revision, topic context, template sections, checklist, source references, and Expected by requirements. Expectations can include an obligation, clause locator, and rationale. These explain the intended use of the template.
Suggested review frequency, classification, language, retention, handling, and distribution values are suggestions. A preview does not apply them to a document. External-evidence templates create evidence folders. Withdrawn templates remain readable for existing references and cannot create new artifacts; withdrawn domains cannot create new domain projects.
To use a current template, open a management-system requirement and create content in an eligible project. The catalog reader itself is for inspection. Ask Copilot about this template, framework, requirement, or mapping is available where your workspace also has Research Copilot access.
Review framework and requirement records
Open a framework from the system's Frameworks tab to read its metadata and requirements. Open a requirement record to review its framework context, expected templates, related requirements, and uses in management systems. Follow a system-use link to update the register entry for that system.
Catalog records and workspace-defined records can have different editing options. Use only the controls offered for the selected record and your role. Archived or withdrawn information may remain visible to explain existing references.
Set domain destinations
Administrators can review saved domain destinations and a system's destination settings. Use Change or Override, select an eligible project, and choose Save destination. A system override takes precedence over the workspace default for that system.
Use workspace default removes the system override for future content. Removing a workspace destination means future content needs a destination selected. Existing projects and content remain in place in both cases.
Check warnings such as No contributor can create content in this destination or You cannot create content in this destination before starting a document run. Choose a writable project or ask for the required project role.
Prepare missing starter content
Use the starter-document controls in a system's Settings after setup. Choose destinations, whether to reuse existing documents, and how older revisions are handled. If organizing by domain, inspect each saved destination and override. With automatic project creation off, templates without a destination can be skipped.
Choose Preview plan before starting the run. Review the planned New draft, Reuse, Link only, and Skip outcomes, project groups, counts, and any follow-up updates. Confirm with Populate only after reviewing those results. If the plan or destinations changed, Sorena requires you to review the updated plan and confirm again. Linking a document and updating that document have separate outcomes.
After requesting creation, review progress and skipped work in Settings. Resolve the reported destination, access, or template issue before retrying. Check for already-created or reused content so that a partial run does not lead you to create duplicates. A truncated plan may cover only part of the work; review the run's counts before repeating it for outstanding eligible documents.
Create missing domain projects
In destination settings, choose Create missing destinations. Review each domain's workspace access; new projects are private unless you choose a workspace role. Select Preview destinations, inspect each outcome, and then choose Create projects.
Changing sharing choices invalidates the preview. If creation fails, prepare another preview before retrying. Read the final outcome for each domain after destinations refresh; some may already have a destination or need further attention.
