Assess requirements and export reports

Request assessments, review findings and human verdicts, and download a statement of applicability.

An assessment compares a requirement with its linked policies, documents, and evidence. Review its reasoning and findings with the supporting material before accepting the result.

Run a system or section assessment

Open Management systems and choose the system. Workspace administrators can choose Assess with AI. Assessment requests also require contributor access on every governing project for each requirement.

  1. Choose Needs attention for unassessed requirements or content changed since the last assessment, or Everything to reassess all eligible requirements.
  2. Set Where to assess to the whole system or a section with its child sections.
  3. Review the estimated count and choose Run assessment.
  4. Read the outcome, including any skipped entries. Open individual requirements for progress and results.

The count is an estimate. Excluded entries, entries without assessable content, and jobs already running may be skipped. Request acceptance does not mean every requirement completed successfully. Results refresh automatically as work completes.

Review a requirement's result

To assess one applicable entry, use Run assessment in its header, or Reassess after it has a result. Link supporting content first unless the requirement can be assessed without artifacts. The control checks contributor access on the governing projects. Use Retry access check if that check fails to load. Wait for an existing assessment to finish before requesting another.

Open the register entry and read the status, reasoning, findings, gaps, and linked material. If content changed, reassess before relying on the old verdict. If a run failed, read its details and check what result remains before requesting another run.

When human review is available, open Review assessment. Choose a Human verdict, enter a Review note, and select Save review. A human verdict overrides the AI result; explain a different conclusion. Clear review and use AI verdict removes that review override. Human review becomes available after an AI assessment completes.

Preview gap repair

For an eligible requirement with open gaps, choose Preview gap repair. Read the proposed edits and any work left for your team before confirming. Repair can update supported linked content; evidence files and folders remain read-only.

Reassess changed content before preparing another repair. If the requirement changes after previewing, load the current entry and prepare a fresh preview. If Sorena says a repair was saved but needs review, use Refresh saved result before another change.

Download a statement of applicability

Choose Export in the system header. Choose CSV, Excel, Markdown, or JSON, optionally filter Frameworks, Domains, and Topics, then choose Download.

Review the selected scope before sharing the file. If a selected framework is no longer declared, deselect it or export all declared frameworks. If preparation fails, use Retry download. After an access or workspace change, return to the intended system before downloading again.

Export several systems together

When the workspace has at least two systems, choose Combined statement on the Management systems overview. Select the Systems to include, choose a format, optionally filter Frameworks, and select Download statement. Systems appear in workspace order. Use Select all or Clear selection to adjust the scope. If the download fails, review the message and use Retry download.
