Manage GitHub access
Review GitHub App permissions, repository access, and who can manage a connection.
Who can manage the connection?
Workspace admins and owners can open and manage the GitHub integration in Sorena. Ask a workspace owner to review your role if you need access to the connection details.
GitHub may also require an organization owner to approve installing or updating the Sorena GitHub App. Sorena cannot grant that approval on the organization's behalf.
Choose repository access on GitHub
The app's permissions and repository access determine which information Sorena can collect.
During installation, GitHub lets you choose which repositories the app can access. Sorena can show information only for repositories and data that are available to the connected app. If expected repositories or evidence are missing, an organization owner can review the app's repository access on GitHub and update it if appropriate.
Some evidence may be incomplete when GitHub access does not allow Sorena to collect it. Sorena labels evidence status so that incomplete or unavailable information is not presented as a confirmed empty result.
Change access
Open Workspace > Integrations, select the connected account, and use Manage on GitHub to review installation settings. After changing access, return to Sorena and use Sync data when available to request an updated capture. Check the capture time and evidence status again before reviewing the result.
