Check processing and run file actions
Resolve Drive processing problems and review results from file AI actions.
An upload can finish before Sorena finishes reading its contents. Open Projects Hub, choose the project, and open Drive. Check the status beside the file and the Drive's queue totals before using it as evidence.
Recover a processing problem
Use the Drive's search and status filters to find affected files. Queued means work is waiting; Processing means it has started. Completed means processing finished. Failed needs attention, and Stale marks work whose status needs checking.
Open the file's Status tab and read the message. Use the row's retry control when available. Check whether the retry has queued before submitting another copy of the original file.
Queue-wide controls can affect more than the row you are looking at. Cancel All stops files that are queued or being processed. Retry All queues another attempt for failed files. Delete Failed permanently removes failed entries from the processing queue; their original files remain in the Drive. Check the count and scope in the confirmation before continuing.
If a preview or list fails to load, retry it. If processing repeatedly fails, contact support with the status and time, without sending private file contents.
Translate, extract, anonymize, or check criteria
With file-management access, open the file's actions menu and choose Translate, Extract data, Anonymize, or Criteria match. These actions are also available from the preview toolbar.
- Check the selected file or files in the dialog.
- Choose the action and complete the options it requests. For criteria matching, enter a clear Criterion; review Max matches and Save path if you use them.
- Add Additional instructions under Advanced options only when needed.
- Start the action and wait for its result. Review any per-file failures before retrying.
- Read the generated text or matches against the original document before using or sharing them.
For a bulk action, a queued-job result confirms that Sorena accepted background work. Check its pending, succeeded, failed, and skipped counts rather than assuming every selected file finished. A criteria result can report that no file matched, or that evaluation stopped after enough matches; review those messages before treating the result as a full review of every file. Translation and anonymization results offer Copy when text is available.
An anonymized result still needs a human check for names, identifiers, and details that could identify someone. Review translations and extracted values for omissions or mistakes. Keep the original file available while checking results.
