OpenAI processing settings
Choose your workspace's OpenAI service tier and the region for eligible requests, then check which settings are active.
Open Workspace > Integrations and find OpenAI service settings. These preferences control how new OpenAI requests are processed, including requests using Sorena-managed credentials.
The workspace needs the Platform license. Workspace Readers and higher can read the saved settings; Workspace Admins and Owners can change them. Check the selected workspace before saving. Ask your workspace owner or IT administrator if you need help choosing a tier or region.
To supply your own provider credentials, follow BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI). BYOAI has a separate license requirement.
Choose a service tier
Under OpenAI service settings, choose Service tier. The page describes three options:

| Standard | Regular processing at the standard price. |
| Fast | Priority processing when faster responses matter. |
| Flex | Lower-cost flexible processing when timing can vary. |
Choose the tier and select Save settings. Save the tier before choosing a region, because available regions depend on the saved tier.
Choose data residency
Data residency lets you keep eligible OpenAI requests in an available region. It applies to eligible requests shown by these settings; other Sorena features and providers may process data elsewhere.
- Review the regions available for the saved service tier.
- Under Data residency, choose an available region or Off.
- Select Save settings.
- Check the saved region and whether residency is active.
The region control is disabled while you have an unsaved tier change. Save the tier first. The page shows the applicable residency surcharge.
Check saved and active settings
A saved region can be unavailable for the current tier. Read the warning and choose an available region or turn residency off. Check the active-state information before relying on a saved region.
Changes apply to new OpenAI requests after saving. Review the eligible regions, active state, and surcharge shown for the selected tier.
If settings cannot load or save
Use Try again if settings cannot load or refresh. After a failed refresh, displayed settings may be out of date; retry before relying on them.
If saving fails, keep the current tier or turn residency off as directed by the error, then try again. If editing controls are missing, ask a workspace owner to check your role and workspace license. Contact support if you still cannot save the intended settings.
